We went to support Grandpa's horse in St. George two weeks ago because he was stuck in Provo at the hospital. We had a great time and Grandpa is doing much better.

I was so on the ball and had Reid's newborn pictures done when he was only 5 days old and then never did anything with them.

He was born two weeks early on October 8, 6lbs 14oz.

I still have the fabric that I bought to make some of them last year. I love all her cute ideas and pictures, I so excited to go to her photography workshop in a couple of weeks!

I'm trying to catch up on some of the things we have done the past couple of months. One weekend we went home to help my dad work cows. It was kind of cold but, it didn't bother Hayes and Riley.

My new shopping love has to be etsy.com There is just about anything you could think of there. Most everything is homemade, vintage or some type of supply.

My most recent purchase was this little gem from EllaMinnowPeaCrafts for Riley. She will customize the hair and eyes to whatever you want. I love her and Riley was so excited when I showed her the picture.

I got this mushroom top from Sweetbirdie's sister company, plainlyjanes. She is a SAHM with two super cute kids and makes some really cute clothes.

I started a small quite when I got this honeybun from uptownjane. I stayed up for hours sewing it together I was so proud that I was going to finish something. The next day, I was over it and it's still setting in the corner waiting to be finished. She is from Loa, UT so, shipping is supper fast.

Fabric is so much cheaper there than it is here locally, I know I should shop local and I would if they has better prices.

I had Abby take Riley's pictures a couple of weeks and they turned out great. She is such an amazing photographer if anyone is looking, I thing she goes to Salt Lake once a month for appointments. Her prices are great and the best thing is that you get a CD with all the images.

I can't believe it's only 6 months until she is 3, she is not a baby anymore.

Brooke went to the hospital yesterday, 6 days over due. We were all glad to get home from Disney to find her still pregnant. It was a rough day but, he is here and they are both doing great!

Here is Hayden Beau Bali 7lbs8oz.

Riley couldn't get enough of him and had to be next to him all the time.

She loves her new cousin so much and was such a big help.

On Saturday, we went out to see Jake's new baby calf. She was kind of scared of them at first but, as long as we were behind the fence she was alright.

After that we went and saw our horse. She loved him and didn't want to get off. You've got to love a horse that can go all winter without being ridden and then just jump on him and ride with a makeshift bridal. She just kept saying, giddy up and yee haw!

We had Brooke's baby shower this weekend and it turned out wonderful. She is so lucky to have so many amazing friends. We filled the entire backroom at PF.

I love Inauguration Day and everything it represents. I am so proud of my country and it's Presidents past and present. Riley and I watched it at work and while she didn't understand any of it, she was still here to witness such an amazing day in history.

Well, the reason for our trip to Reno was to pick up a CNC machine that we could hook up to the plasma cutter and cut out designs. Quinn has been busy figuring everything out and making some sample pieces. Here are some of the things that he has made.

R and I went to the park and played because it was such a nice day!

This year for New Years we went to Strawberry and stayed in the cabin. Jake and Colby came up with us. Riley was a great sport when we decided to go sledding at 11:15 that night. We almost didn't make it back for the count down. New Years day the rest of the Stubbs family came up and we went sledding down Pringle Hill. We had a wonderful time.

Quinn and I made a quick trip to Reno over the weekend to pick up a cnc machine so we can cut different things out of metal. Well, it was the longest trip of my life. One of the highlights of the trip was the Shoe Tree in East Gate. When you first see it, it looks like it is loaded with birds. The entire tree is full of shoes. AMAZING

Reno is my new favorite place. It has amazing shopping and still feels like a small town. Next time we will for sure fly.
I almost forgot about the FRENCH FRIES, they have the really thin cut fries and the only other place that we have found them was when we ate at Joey Tomato's when we were in Canada.

I saw this on Quinn's cousin's blog and thought it was great, so here goes.

I love it when you hear that song that just makes you happy.

I don't know if Mike knows what a crappy employee I am, I guess he's stuck with R and I.

I have some of the greatest friends/family, do anything for you no matter what.

I just know one of these days when I'm putting R in her car seat at the store, another car is going to pull up along side of us and smash my legs in the door.

I love going home and having my mom take care of my family.

I belive my neighbor, Mary, is wise beyond her years. She has amazing advice and always makes me feel better when my kid and house are a mess.

I wish I could spend more time with Jen and Lex, like we used to.

I'm a sucker for a SALE.

I can't wait to go shopping with my friends and sisters next weekend!!!!!

I don't have the Internet at my home.

Last night Brodie, Moniece, Colby, and Jack came up to carve pumpkins. We had fun and everyone's turned out wonderful. All the boys said they would rather clean a deer than a pumpkin so, Moniece and I had to clean all of them.

You know the kind of excited where you can not stop smiling and you can feel your heart beating? The last time I was that excited was probably the day I got engaged. Every time I looked at my ring I would light up with excitement. For Quinn it was last Saturday. I have NEVER seen him more happy in my life.
He shot a big buck on the run and I can only imagine the adrenalin with Brodie yelling "Kill him again" and Quinn trying to get another shot off.
It was 30" 3x4 and the biggest deer Quinn has ever shot, big enough that he wants to hang it down in his gun room in the basement or in the garage so that when people drive by they will be able to see it or more so that is where I want it hung ;)

All in all it was a wonderful weekend. Mom took care of us like always, cooking and baking up a storm. Riley got to play with Hayes and see the cows and horses. We even got to see Lacy for a while, hope Cody if feeling better.
I doesn't get much better than a weekend at home.

Last night we went to Paragonah to the pumpkin patch. It was cold but fun was had by all. We were the only ones crazy enough to go out in the cold so we didn't get a good family pic. Riley loved seeing the pumpkins and the deer.

I'm getting used to this single mom thing. With Q being gone to Alaska and then working in Page, we don't get to see him much. R and I went to the Western festival at the park to kill some time. We got to see the horses and ride in the little train. Someday I will talk Q into making one for us.

Busy weekend

Well, we had a very busy weekend. On Friday we went to Strawberry for the Robinson family reunion. Riley had a blast playing in the sandbox and with her cousins.

Riley love to go for rides on anything that moves. Saturday Riley and I went to Wayne County for my cousin Lacey's wedding. It was at the old school house in Torey, it was amazing!

Sunday was cousin Brynn's 1st Birthday. She is such a great baby!

We braved the cold and went camping for Memorial Weekend.

Friday we had some friends come up and we had a party in the sheep wagon.

Saturday Nick came up on the four wheeler, can you say cold. The boys went fishing. That night the family came up for dinner, dutch oven chicken, mutton, potatos, and peach cobbler, it doesn't get much better than that.

We ended up going to Greenwich on Sunday and just staying there.

This was last year when we went camping.

I ran my first half marathon this weekend in Moab with Shalon, Jaime, and Teresa. It was an amazing weekend, we had so much fun. I ran it in 2hrs 20mins, nothing to brag about but, I'm just glad that I did it.
